[ For whatever reason, Pounce has chosen to make this post while lying on top of a file. It isn't evident from the video whose file it is, though that will become apparent in a moment. It does kind of look like he found it and immediately decided it was a bed, though. ]

I have evidently been entrusted with Arthas' file. Given the circumstances, however, I believe it is safe to assume that I will not be taking the role of his permanent warden. None the less, until I am told otherwise I shall consider myself responsible for him as though I were.

I presume you are still free of the Lich King, Arthas. So long as you do not try my patience I will keep my claws to myself.

I've had worse.

[So. Advantages. Small bodies poison faster. Succumb to plague faster. There's an idea, if he had his Defile back. Small bones break quicker, if he could hit the damn thing. Something it couldn't dodge, or didn't know it had to. (Sniper?) A distraction is necessary either way.

Arthas resumes his purposeful walk.]

Don't you have a real inmate?

[ This poor, sad little baby. Pounce shakes his head and follows after him. ]

I do not. I have all the time in all the Realms to look after such a wayward kit.

A what?

[Arthas is... Not sure if he's insulted?]

I'm a grown man.

[ The low level of indignation tells Pounce that Arthas is not actually familiar with the word. ]

Kitten. An infant feline. If you wish to be treated as a man then you should behave like one.

[brbculling]

I want to be treated like a threat. You're doing that already.

[To the staircase again. Let's see where Letty lives.]

So be it.

[ He reaches out to bat at Arthas' leg with a Sabertooth's strength. ]

[This time he catches himself on a wall. That would be a broken leg without his armor and he spits a curse.]

I'm not going to stop.

You will stop, even if you must be confined to the infirmary for the remainder of the month.

You'll have to chain me to the bed.

[Arthas is grinning like a man possessed, now. He gingerly puts weight back on his leg and continues forward.]

[ He has lost his patience, and this is not working. He yowls, and a wall of purple fire encircles them both. It doesn't burn, but it does create a solid barrier. ]

[Arthas' smile gets wider and he slips his hand into the fire - or, tries.

Damn. That's not even real fire. His fingers bonk off of it, then curl into a fist which he slams into the barrier like a sledgehammer. It doesn't give. Great.

That established, he looks back at the cat.]

We're going to stay here in the hall all day?

[ The cat glares daggers at the man, his tail flicking furiously back and forth. ]

So long as you are determined to behave like an infant you will be treated like one. Bad children will be sent to bed without super. Now you will sleep.

[ He puts out an aura of heavy sleep and relaxation, contained only by the flame barrier. ]

I am not a child.

[Sleep spells are common on Azeroth, and one of the things he'd warded for. A rune warded into his armor near the collar flares. He doesn't fall.]

Go to hell.

[ He doesn't see the rune until it takes effect. Fortunately there is an easy way to destroy most kinds of charm - eat it. He pounces at the rune, claws bared and ready to rend metal.

Hopefully he won't cut Arthas' throat in the process. ]

[The rune's magic is seared into the metal of the armor, dormant until it's needed but very awake now. Arthas grins again and brings his knife up to intercept the cat - he doesn't care what gets clawed if he can get a good injury in.]

[ The knife takes a big slice out of Pounce's side, but by the time he has his claws in metal the wound is already closing up. ]

[Arthas curses, and mentally adds another ability to his checklist. Healing. Fine. Any blow must be fatal immediately.]

Light damn it!

[The rune breaks once clawed, and he fights to stay upright with sheer willpower. His eyes droop shut and he trembles, but it only lasts a few seconds. His knees buckle and he tips back onto the barrier and slumps into a heap.

Zzz.]

[ Pounce has had quite enough of this. With Arthas down he drops the barrier, and chooses to drag the man back to his room with teeth in his remaining armor. Let him suffer the consequences. He'll be allowed out again when he gives up this insane march on Letty. ]
